| John M. Roberts manufacturing jeweller doesn't just sell jewellery. We create it right here on the premises. As we have our own workshop we can offer the a variety of services that a jewellery shop can't. And as our staff are qualified jewellers we provide experienced advice on all enquiries, not just a sales pitch. |

Setting is an art and our mastercraftsmen are experienced at placing precious stones using all setting techniques:
Bezel
- A setting where the gemstone has been set within a metal encasement surrounding the stone.
Claw
- A setting style in which a series of metal prongs, called claws, hold a gemstone securely in a setting. This setting suspends a stone in an open mounting, allowing for the most light to enter from the sides of the ring
Channel
- A setting style in which many stones of uniform size are set in a groove that form a continuous strip.
Pavé
- A setting style where many small gemstones are set close together. From the French, meaning "to pave." Pavé settings produce a carpet of brilliance across the entire surface of a piece of jewellery. The surface is encrusted, or quite literally "paved" in diamonds and gems, and the body of the jewelry is brought vibrantly to life
